Chiellini oozes confidence over

Turin: Juventus stopper Giorgio Chiellini claims the Champions League encounter against Chelsea at home to be the easiest tie they have had so far. “Tomorrow is the easiest game we will play in recent weeks,” Chiellini said.

The departure of Talisman, Cristiano Ronaldo had hit the Italian club in the worst way possible. The team failed to register any victory in the first four matches of the league. But soon picked up their momentum with wins against Malmo, Spezia and Sampdoria.

Although the performance level of the team had drastically fallen, which is inevitable when a personality like Ronaldo is absent. The injuries of Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala has added to the worries. But the Euro 2020 winning defender seemed to be positive about the clash with the defending champions Chelsea.

“These are great games because they’re easy to prepare for, the tension is at its highest and everything is at the highest level.”

“We’re playing our first home match in the Champions League against the European champions, who strengthened since winning it, so it will be a great match, as difficult as it will be stimulating.” added he.

“I’m sure we’ll play well and that everyone around the club, us most of all, the coach, the fans want to have a great night.”

Juventus will take on Chelsea in Turin on Wednesday as the English side hope to make a comeback from their recent set back against Manchester City.
