Netizens went crazy on social media as PV Sindhu shared a message on Instagram and Twitter that says “I RETIRE”. “Denmark Open was the final straw. I RETIRE,” the first in her series of messages read.
She wrote about how she wants to come clean about her feelings, and the message might be a little confusing for her fans, but by the time they read, they will learn about her point of view.
She talks about how the COVID 19 pandemic has affected her. Initially, the message might shock the fans, however, it ends with a twist.
“Today I choose to retire from this current sense of unrest. I retire from this negativity,” she wrote, before admitting that she may have given readers “a mini heart attack”. She said that “unprecedented times require unprecedented measures”.

Netizens were shocked but eventually relieved, “That gave me a scare for a moment. You are right we all need to unite against this virus by following the protocols. We will fight off the virus together,” wrote one.
“Shocked initially … later relieved. Nice campaign,” wrote another.
