Christian Eriksen stable after collapsing on pitch against Finland

Copenhagen : Denmark faced Finland during the third match of Euro Championship as the play rolled on Christian Eriksen collapsed on the field. The medical team tried to resurrect the Danish player for 10 minutes or so on the played. But the player was eventually stretchered off. He was given CPR and electric shocks.

As per report, Eriksen has been transferred to the hospital and has been stabilised. He has regained his consciousness and is said to be stable. UEFA assured that the best medical team is looking after the matter.

At first, UEFA shared a tweet suspending the match. “The UEFA EURO 2020 match in Copenhagen has been suspended due to a medical emergency,” the UEFA tweet read. But following the current situation a crisis meeting has been called with both teams and match officials and further information will be communicated in some time soon.
