Goa : Chennaiyin FC failed to capitalize on the chances which have had created against Odisha FC as the match ended 0-0 in GMC Stadium Bambolim on Sunday. It was the first of the double header of super Sunday.
The match was important in perspective of both the side to revive their season from where they have been after nine matches, but both the team failed to find the back of the net. The match started excitingly as Rahim Ali created an opportunity in the third minute of the the match but failed to score.
Chennaiyin played comparatively better football than Odisha in the first half by creating numerous chances to score, but failed. Odisha on the other scored one goal by the help of Diego Mauricio but was disallowed as he was in an offside position.
In the second half both the teams created chances but failed to find the back of the net and the match ended 0-0. Odisha would be happier of the team after the team is now unbeaten in their last two matches. Chennaiyin would be disappointed for the missed opportunities throughout 90 minutes.
