Kolkata: East Bengal will return to Barasat Stadium after over 8 years as they face Calcutta Customs in CFL 2026. The last time EB played a match there, it was the 2018 IFA Shield Final against Mohun Bagan, where our U-19 team defeated MB U-19 in penalties (4-2) after the game ended 1-1.
The last time our main team played there, it was in February 2018 in an I-League 2017-18 match against Indian Arrows which EB won 1-0 thanks to Dudu scoring the winner at 90+3′.
IFA announced Round 11 & 13 fixtures for CFL 2026. Mohun Bagan will begin the opening game with Railway FC at Mohun Bagan Ground and Bidhannagar MSA will face George Telegraph.
East Bengal will hit Barasat Stadium on August 30 against Calcutta Customs. Another Bengal giant – Mohammedan SC will play on next day against Kalighat Sports LA.
