Manchester: Manchester City strolled into the FA Cup fourth round as they breezed past Birmingham City with a 3-0 victory on Sunday (January 10). City, who were winners of the tournament in 2018-19, scored all three goals within the first 33 minutes.

Pep Guardiola’s side went ahead within eight minutes owing to a superb strike from Bernardo Silva, who also scored City’s second brilliant team move on 15 minutes. Phil Foden scored City’s third when fired a shot in from just outside the area after having been teed up from Riyad Mahrez on 33 minutes

The Algeria international thought he had netted a fourth for City, but his goal was ruled out for offside. Victory means City are still going strong in all four competitions, having reached the Carabao Cup final after winning against Manchester United.
