Kolkata – Adamas Howrah Warriors defeated Rashmi Nes Medinipur Wizards by 81 runs at JU Campus in Bengal Women’s T20 League 2026, on back of brilliant all-round performance.
Howrah Batting first lost opener Sujata Dey early. Skipper Ankita Chakraborty (33) played a handy knock to erase the pressure. However, the day belonged to Tithi Das who scored half century – 52(48) with 2 sixes and 4 boundaries. Srilekha Roy also played crucial cameo of 31*(22) at the end as Howrah finished with 152/4 (20).
Defending 153, Howrah bowlers destroyed Medinipur middle order. Disha Chandak, Sujata Dey, Remondina Khatun bagged 2 wickets each as Howrah restricted Medinipur to 71/7 in 20 overs. Only Napisa Yasmin (14*) and Monika Mal (20*) showed some resistance at the end when Medinipur were at 38-7 , but without success.
Tithi Das was awarded Player of the match for her match winning knock.
