Nagpur : Bengal registered their first victory of the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy Elite after a dominant eight-wicket win over Rajasthan at the VCA Stadium, Nagpur on Thursday.
Opting to bat, Rajasthan managed only 104/7 in 20 overs.
Monika Mal (2-16), Titas Sadhu (1-22), Saika Ishaque (1-22), Tanushree Sarkar (1-22) were the star bowlers for Bengal.
In reply, Bengal went over the line comfortably, scoring 105/2 in 17.4 overs. Tanushree (49 off 41), Sasthi Mondal (34 not out off 46) and Priyanka Bala (16 not out) were impressive with the bat.
Tanushree was awarded the player of the match for her all-round show.
