Kolkata : The Men’s Selection Committee has picked the India A squad for the upcoming one-day tri-series in Sri Lanka, scheduled to be held in June 2026.
The tri-series will feature hosts Sri Lanka A, India A and Afghanistan A. Following the limited-overs tri-series, India A will also play two multi-day matches against Sri Lanka A, with the squad for the red-ball fixtures to be announced at a later date.
The white-ball series will be played in Dambulla, while the multi-day matches will take place in Galle.
The squad will be captained by Tilak Varma who’s in great form in IPL. It also features young sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi who took international bowlers to cleaners in IPL. Young openers Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya who impressed with their power hitting opening for Punjab Kings and their teammate Suryansh Hegde , have been added. Riyan Parag, the Rajasthan Royals and Assam skipper will be the vice captain. The pacers like Arshad Khan, Yudhvir Singh, Anshul Kamboj, Yash Thakur and spinner Nishant Sindhu, Harsh Dubey, Vipraj Nigam strengthen the bowling line up.
