Wenzhou : The Indian Women’s Football team has been knocked out of the group stage by Thailand in a 1-0 affair at Wenzhou Olympic Sports Centre, China.
India throughout the 1st half, tried to breach through Thailand defense without success, neither did they concede goal.
In the 2nd half, desperate efforts continued but the hopes began to shatter when in the 51st minute, Thongrong Parichat scored an important goal for Thailand making the lead 1-0. The last few minutes saw India getting possession without success.
