New Delhi: Mom-to-be Anushka Sharma took to her Instagram Stories to post a congratulatory message for Team India and her husband Virat Kohli after India registered a spectacular win against Australia.
On Sunday (December 6) taking to her Instagram Stories, she shared a picture from the winning moment, she wrote “Series win & brilliant team effort!! Men in blue. Congratulations my love.”
India beat Australia by six wickets in the second T20I in Sydney on Sunday (December 6). Led by quickfire forties from Kohli and Pandya and a fifty from Shikhar Dhawan, does the trick and made it count with the bat as India chased down 195 against Australia.
On that note skipper Kohli set a new record as he became the first Indian captain to win T20 series in SENA countries – South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia. Dhoni, the only other Indian captain to have led India to wins in South Africa and Australia but he had failed to win a T20I series in England and New Zealand.
The power couple are expecting their first child in January 2021. Kohli will only play the first Test match in Adelaide before leaving for India due to a paternity leave granted by BCCI. In a recent interview, Virat had said that he is very excited to welcome their bundle of joy and want to be with his wife to experience the precious moments of their lives.
