Kolkata : Ankur Paul, Ankit Shukla smashed tons to power Bengal’s win over Mumbai in the multi day Siechem Trophy 2026 clash.
In 1st innings, highest scorer of 1st Division 2025-26 season Ankur Paul smashed 159 off 244 deliveries while youngster Ankit Shukla recorded 134 (311) to post massive 418 for Bengal.
Mumbai, with half centuries of Sairaj Patil (69), Jayy Jain (65) could only manage 295. Left arm spinner from Mohun Bagan – Pradipta Pramanik (6-68) and Aamir Gani helped Bengal to demolish Mumbai and get first innings lead advantage.
Bengal Batted calmly and slowly in 2nd innings knowing their advantage, and declared on 51-4 after playing 21 overs.
Mumbai Batted out remaining 2 overs scoring 5 runs only for the match to end in a tie, but due to first innings lead, Bengal won the game.
