Mohun Bagan Super Giants sign Apuia from Mumbai City FC on 5 year deal

Kolkata: Mohun Bagan Super Giants made epic signature by signing Lalengmawia Ralte, better known as Apuia, on a five-year contract.

Considered one of the finest midfielders in the Indian national team, the 23-year-old Mizo footballer strengthens Jose Molina’s midfield options significantly. Apuia arrived at the club on Monday, underwent medical tests, and officially signed the documents, finalizing the deal.

Jose Molina, Mohun Bagan new head coach said, “Apuia is a great reinforcement for our midfield. He has been an important in the league in recent seasons, becoming an important player as a defensive midfielder in the Indian national team as well. It will help us generate internal competition that will improve team performance”.
