Amsterdam : After so many rejections from Ajax club finally the ‘Antony-Saga’ coming to an end. Brazilian winger Antony is signing for Manchester United with a record breaking transfer fee of €100M. Both the clubs agree the deal on Sunday and Antony is set to join English giant by end of transfer window.
Previously Ajax rejects Manchester United’s €90M bid for the winger on Friday. But finally its happening and Antony will join his former Ajax’s manager Erik Ten Hag and team mate Lisandro Martinez to Manchester United. The 22 year-old Brazilian Star is expecting to have a medical within 48 hours in Manchester.
In his Eredivisie career, Antony plays 57 games for Ajax and scores 18 goals and converts 14 assists. Manchester United already invests €150M by signing Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Malacia and Eriksen to their squad. The addition of Antony in United squad will give more access in the striker line along with Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.
As the deadline is near, Manchester United may bid for another forward Cody Gakpo from Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven. With almost €250M of invest in this transfer window and with new manager, Manchester United’s Fans are starting to dream of being number 1 again in England and Europe.
