Goa: FC Goa failed to get past Kerala Blasters after taking a lead in the first half at the GMC Stadium in Bambolim, as the match ended 1-1. Jorge Ortiz scored for Goa before Rahul KP ensuring his name in the scoresheet for Kerala for the second match in a row.

Goa started well in the first half with a fair share of attacks from their frontline. Kerala were finding it difficult to create chances. In the 25th minute, Ortiz scored the first goal for Goa from a free-kick. A nice finish from the Spaniard helped the Gaurs to take charge over Kerala.

In the second half Juan Ferrando brought in Igor Angulo, top scorer in this edition of ISL, to finish the match, but his plan failed, unfortunately. Rahul scored the equaliser in the 57th minute.

However, Goa were down to 10 men when Ivan Gonzalez was shown the red card after pushing the referee on the hour mark. Kerala would be disappointed for missing out on the golden opportunity, but would be happy with their performance after this result.
