Harare : Sikandar Raza’s Zimbabwe defeated young Indians led by Shubman Gill by 13 runs at Harare Sports Club, Harare, in 1st T20I.
Defending a total of 116 runs, Zimbabwe made India struggle all throughout the innings .
Apart from Shubman Gill (31), whole top order fell like pack of cards.
Washington Sundar (27) tried hard lower down the order but without success.
Brilliant efforts & 3-fers from Skipper Sikandar Raza & experienced pacer Tendai Chatara bundled out India for 102 runs & going 1-0 up in 1st T20I.
In 1st innings, Zimbabwe Batting 1st , despite having a good start were trapped in the spin thread of Ravi Bishnoi, ending a clinical spell of 4-13.
Zimbabwe got bundled for 115 runs.
Sikandar Raza was adjourned the Man of The Match for his heroics and leadership.
Both the team will face each other in 2nd T20I on 7 July.
