Kolkata: India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal revealed his lady-love, Dhanashree Verma, as he shared the picture of the two from the Roka ceremony. Chahal took to social media to make it official. “We said ‘Yes’ along with our families #rokaceremony,” Chahal posted.
Dhanashree is a digital content creator and has described herself as ‘Doctor, Choreographer, YouTuber, and the founder of Dhanashree Verma Company’ on her official Instagram profile.
As soon as Chahal shared his very first pictures from the ceremony, wishes started pouring from every fraternity — cricketers, stars, and his fans. Considered as one of the pillars of India’s limited-overs sides, the Chahal has made 52 ODI and 42 T20I appearances so far. He is also the second-highest wicket-taker for India in the quickest format of the game, with 55 dismissals to his name.
Chahal, who turns out for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League shared his enthusiasm last day for the upcoming edition to be held in UAE from September 19. “The wait is over. Let’s roar,” he captioned sharing a picture of him celebrating the wicket with RCB captain Virat Kohli.
