Raipur : India Masters defeated Australia Masters by 94 runs at Raipur in Semi Final 1 of International Masters League (IML) 2025 & qualified for Final. Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh and Shahbaz Nadeem played pivotal role in knocking out Shane Watson’s army.
Batting first, Sachin Tendulkar (42) rolled back the clock after losing Ambati Rayudu (5) for 16.
Tendulkar smashed 7 boundaries in 42 (30) setting the tone of match.
Yuvraj Singh (59) rose to occasion yet again against Australia with an innings of 59 (30) including 7 sixes & 1 boundary.
The innings was also well accompanied by cameos of Stuart Binny (36), Yusuf Pathan (23), Irfan Pathan (19*). India ended the innings on 220-7 (20).
Defending 221 runs, India kept Australia on backfoot, picking wickets at regular intervals.
Shahbaz Nadeem picked 4 wickets, Vinay Kumar & Irfan Pathan bagged 2-fers as Aussies were bundled at 126. Ben Cutting (39) gave lone fightback.
Nadeem was adjourned man of the match.
