Guyana : West Indies record their 2nd consecutive win in the 5 Match T20I series against India, with a record win by 2 wickets at Guyana. Nicholas Pooran’s heroic knock of 67(40) guided them to a 2-0 lead in the series.

Chasing a target of 153 runs, Indian skipper Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh ripped apart the top order with quick 3 wickets. However, in form Nicholas Pooran and skipper Rovman Powell started to build a crucial partnership, even after wicket loss of Powell, Pooran continued to bash the Indian attack all over the park, scoring a vital knock of 67,before getting out off Mukesh Kumar. When things looked in West Indies favour from this point, Indian tight fielding and Yuzvendra Chalal’s crucial 2 wickets economical spell marked a new hope in the Indian line up. However, a vital 8th wicket partnership between Akeal Hossain and Alzarri Joseph sealed the match for West Indies.

Earlier in the 1st innings, whole top order of Indian Batting line up seemed to struggle, however a lone warrior Tilak Varma displayed valour with the Bat, scoring his 1st 50 in International Cricket , where rest of the Batting line up didn’t put up a fighting show in front of a good attacking bowling of the hosts, scoring 152/7.
