Dubai: It was a long time coming, but was worth the wait. It took Pakistan nearly three decades and 13 matches to end their World Cup drought against India, registering their first-ever victory in a World Cup tournament on Sunday. And what a way to do it, we can’t help but laud Pakistan cricket team’s swashbuckling performance against India. Pakistan’s cricket fans all over was seen celebrating the sweet victory.
Remember the viral meme guy from Pakistan Momin Saqib, a die hard cricket fan whose epic rant towards the Pakistan cricket team after its defeat against India in 2019, went viral on social media? Well, Momin was present at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday to cheer for Pakistan and to witness the historic event.
Saqib shared a couple of videos on his Instagram following Pakistan’s historic win against India. He was in a celebratory mood. “Mujhe Kuch samaj nai arahi!! Main khushi se pagal ho jao ga (I can’t understand anything! I will go mad because of this happiness) (sic),” he captioned one of his videos.
