Mumbai: Team India captain skipper Virat Kohli’s love for football is well-known among his fans. The Indian cricket team captain, impressed one and all with his football skills on Tuesday (May 25) as he showcased his football skills by sharing a video of a crossbar challenge.

Virat Kohli is keeping himself warmed up as the skipper was seen getting involved in some football action. In a recent video that he posted, the 32 year old had posted a video on social media where he was seen taking a free kick from outside the box, which remarkably hits the crossbar. Needless to say he ‘Accidentally aced the crossbar challenge’ is what he captioned the post. Kohli himself was seen in disbelief as to how he pulled off the shot and his hilarious reaction is winning the internet. Nonetheless his reaction was quite evident with the caption as well.

Meanwhile, India football team captain Sunil Chhetri impressed with Kohli’s skills and jokingly asked a question to the 32 year old batsman if he can bill Kohli for all the coaching sessions in full or in instalments. “Saare coaching sessions ka ek hi invoice bheju, ya aasan kishton mein chukaoge, champ?,” Chhetri tweeted.

This is not the first time he is seen playing football. The 32-year-old batsman has never shied away from participating in football matches be it for charity or otherwise. Few years ago the Indian skipper also took part in a charity game between the All Hearts and the All Stars. Where Kohli led the All Hearts, while Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor was in charge of the All Stars. Kohli is also a co-owner of the Indian Super League (ISL) club, FC Goa.

Kohli, along with the Indian squad gearing up for the upcoming World Test Championship final final against New Zealand next month followed by a five-match Test series against the England.
