Nagpur : Vidarbha defeated Rest of India (ROI) by 93 runs at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur in Irani Cup 2025 , to secure 3rd title.
Batting first, with help of Atharva Taide (143) ton & blistering 91 runs of Yash Rathod, Vidarbha posted 342 runs.
Despite skipper Rajat Patidar (66) & Abhimanyu Easwaran (52) half centuries, ROI could only manage 214 runs in first innings.
Yash Thakur (4/66) picked 4 wickets, Harsh Dubey & Parth Rekhade bagged 2-fers each.
Vidarbha managed 232 runs in 2nd innings, setting 360 runs target for ROI. Anshul Kamboj bagged 4 wickets.
Defending 360 runs, Harsh Dubey picked 4-fer, Yash Thakur, Aditya Thakare took 2 wickets each, as Vidarbha bundled ROI for 267 runs to clinch the title.
Taide was awarded Player of the match.
