UEFA Champions League : Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Inter Milan to fight in the group of death

Istanbul : On Thursday, the draw of this season’s UEFA Champions League group has been done at Istanbul. The defending champions Real Madrid CF are being placed in group F with RB Leipzig, Celtic and Shakhtar Donetsk. But Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Inter Milan amd Viktoria Plzen are placed in a group of death in Group C.

Premier League Champions Manchester City are placed in Group G alongwith Dortmund, Sevilla and Copenhagen. Where as another English giant Liverpool join Ajax, Napoli and Rangers in Group A. Group B consists of teams like FC Porto, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, and Club Brugge.

Paris St Germain place in the group H with Benfica, Juventus and M.Haifa. Where as Chelsea join AC Milan, Salzburg amd Dinamo Zagreb in group E and Tottenham join in group D along with Sporting CP, Frankfurt and Marseille.

Real Madrid’s French International Karim Benzema awarded the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year and Barcelona Femeni’s Alexia Putellas of Spain awarded the UEFA Women’s Player of the Year.
