Bengaluru: It’s a joyous time for R Madhavan, whose 16-year-old son Vedaant recently won seven medals in a swimming competition. Vedaant Madhavan won seven medals for Maharashtra at the junior national aquatic championships in Bengaluru. At the event held at the Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre, the star kid earned four silver and three bronze medals.
Vedaant won silver medals for Maharashtra in the 800 m freestyle, 1500 m freestyle, 4100 freestyle relay, and 4200 freestyle relay events. The Bridge, reported, he earned bronze medals in the 100 m freestyle swimming, 200 m freestyle swimming, and 400 m freestyle swimming competitions.
