Sydney: Rishabh Pant is once again under a lot of questions as well as criticism after after his flop show in the ongoing Pink-ball Test match between India A and Australia A. Pant’s international career is under further threat. The 23-year-old wicketkeeper, who was earlier dropped from India’s white-ball squads, owing to his falling form and fitness.
However he got an opportunity to put forward his case to feature in the first Test match in Adelaide, He failed terribly to perform with the bat as he departed for just five runs after 11 deliveries. It was a great chance for young batsmen but he failed again.
Earlier Akash Chopra also said that “Rishabh was not there in the ODI and T20I squad. So, he has only gone as a tourist to Australia till now. He has not done any work till now. He might be used as a substitute whenever there is a requirement. For making a proper comeback in the team, he would have to wait till IPL 2021.” Chopra said on his YouTube channel.
Netizens turned furious after seeing a row of inconsistencies from Pant in near time and slammed Pant for his poor performance.
