Chelsea – Timo Werner

Timo Werner

Chelsea made some important signing decisions this season. They got Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen, Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and Timo Werner from RB Leipzig. Why Timo Werner has been tipped so highly? Because of his goal contribution which is 78 goals in 127 matches for RB Leipzig. He can be at his lethal best infront of the opposition goal and can cause serious threats to any top club in the league. Chelsea finished fourth and qualified for the Champions League Group stage under manager Frank Lampard, so it’s a big challenge for Lampard to use these high profile players perfectly and correctly so they can prove themselves for Chelsea and win it for them. Timo Werner has got that capability but needs support from the other players to turn himself into a Talisman for the London outfit.
