Dubai: Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina paid a heartfelt tribute on Monday (August 24) to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Tagging Narendra Modi he said he has full faith in the government, to bring justice for the late actor. Posting the video on his social media platform, Raina wrote, “Brother you will always be alive in our hearts, your fans miss you more than anything! I have full faith on our government & it’s leaders who will leave no stone unturned to bring you justice, you are a true inspiration!
In the video, Sushant’s picture is seen on a tablet with a soulful song of the late actor’s movie Kedarnath playing in the background. Sushant was well known in the cricket fraternity after he portrayed the role of MS Dhoni in the former captain’s biopic – ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’. He was highly appreciated for his role.
His untimely demise has left the entire nation in shock. While people from across the world are paying tribute to the late actor and seeking justice for his death, Raina also prayed a heartwarming tribute to Sushant. IPL 2020 will start from September 19 and Suresh Raina will be looking to hit the ground running. The left-handed batsman, who announced retirement from international cricket earlier this month, will be seen playing for Chennai Super Kings.
