Kolkata: Shrachi Rarh Tigers defeated Rashmi NES Medinipur Wizards by 3 runs at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, to enter Bengal T20 League 2026 semi final.
Batting first, Tigers posted 169/9 (20). Gaurav Singh Chauhan (30) initially held the top order. But loss of wickets reduced them to 129/7 (17.3). Rohit Kumar’s late 30(8) cameo brought them to the fighting total.
Defending 170, Tigers restricted Medinipur to 67-4 (9.4). Anustup Majumdar (32) and Vivek Singh (26) gave steady starts. After the fall of wickets, Abhisek Das (40*), Aishik Patel (30) and Subham Sarkar (28) threatened to take the game away from Tigers. However, Rohit and Sukhmeet Singh held their nerves and calmly defended the total with efficient death bowling.
With this, Tigers enter their maiden Bengal T20 League semi final, along with Sobisco Smashers Malda.
