Kolkata : Shrachi Rarh Tigers defeated Novas Royals Purulia by 7 wickets at Eden Gardens in Semi Final 1 to reach Bengal T20 League 2026 final.
Tigers bowling first completely pushed debutants Purulia to backfoot, reducing them to 37-7 in 10 overs. Lokesh (48) and Mithilesh Das (23) played good knocks but Purulia were eventually bundled out for 107 (18.2).
For Tigers, Rohit Kumar grabbed 4 wickets while captain Shahbaz Ahmed and Sukhmeet Singh took 2 each.
Chasing 108, Sumanta Gupta (47*) and captain Shahbaz (31) comfortably guided Tigers past the target in 12.1 overs. This will be the maiden Bengal T20 League final for Tigers.
