Dubai: Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner and Bollywood heartthrob Shah Rukh Khan
paid a surprise visit to the Dubai International Cricket Stadium during his team’s Indian Premier League match against Rajasthan Royals on Wednesday, (September 30). There’s rarely any KKR match that he doesn’t attend and seeing him in the stadium may have certainly uplifted the spirit of his team and KKR fans.

Besides SRK, the Bollywood superstar’s son Aryan and wife Gauri Khan were also spotted cheering for KKR from the stands. King Khan soon became the talk of the town after the cameras were able to spot the superstar in the stands. As soon as he entered the stadium photos and videos went viral and fans can’t keep their calm. Dressed in a white t-shirt with a purple hoodie and KKR’s logo on it, SRK looked stylish as ever.

Which caught the eye of fans the most is, he is also seen sporting his new look with a purple bandana and long hair, ensuring all the safety measures. A video of Shah Rukh at the ground was shared on Twitter by the IPL official handle with the caption, “King Khan is in the house, cheering for his lads.”

Before the match, the franchise did a Facebook Live session with KKR, where CEO Venky Mysore confirmed that King Khan will be there in the stands for the team’s IPL match against the Steve Smith-led side.

“I think we can confirm that. You will see King Khan coming into the Dubai Stadium and I think that will serve as some additional motivation for the players. It is wonderful to have him, he has been itching to get out here and come and be part of the game,” Mysore had said during the Live session.

KKR is performing extremely well this season and we bet the actor is happy and excited to see his team performing so well. KKR had lost their first game against Mumbai Indians but bounced back with a seven-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad. The Dinesh Karthik-led team defeated Steve Smith’s Rajasthan Royals by 37 runs for their second win of this season.
