Kolkata : SSS Napoli signed Romelu Lukaku for 3 years till 2027 on € 30m , with possible add ons. He ended his unsuccessful stint at Chelsea with this move.
Napoli brings Lukaku back to Italy where he spent his prime days with Inter Milan.
He’ll unite with Napoli manager Antonio Conte under whom he thrived at Inter Milan, scoring 47 goals in 72 league appearances and winning the Serie A title in the 2020-21 season.
Following this heroics, Chelsea roped him in later in 2021. However, his stint there proved unsuccessful as he played 26 matches & scored 8 goals, unable to find his best form.
Lukaku spent most of his time in Inter Milan and Roma in next 2 years before making this move to Napoli.
