Mumbai: The all-rounder duo Ravindra Jadeja, Hanuma Vihari return to India squad for the ICC World Test Championship final as BCCI announced the final squad for WTC Final against New Zealand and a five-match series against England.
While Jadeja, Vihari and Bumrah made their much-awaited return, Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav lost their place in the squad of 20 players. Meanwhile, right-handed batsman KL Rahul KL who underwent a surgery after being diagnosed with acute appendicitis, and wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha, who was infected with COVID-19 during the recently-suspended IPL, have been included, but subjected to clear the “fitness clearance”.

The WTC final between India and New Zealand is scheduled to be held in Southampton between June 18 and 22, followed by the Tests against England from August 4. The Test series against England will start in Nottingham, followed by matches at the Lord’s (August 12-16), Leeds (August 25-29), The Oval (September 2-6) and Old Trafford (September 10-14).
