Kalyani : Abhishek Porel and Sudip Gharami smashed individual centuries as Bengal reside in commanding position after Day 2.
After bundling Delhi on 240 after Day 1 , Bengal took the crease on Day 2. They lost Ankur Paul (17) early for 30 runs. Captain Abhimanyu Easwaran (34) also contributed for 54 runs partnership along with Sudip Gharami.
Gharami and Abhishek went on to notch 199* runs partnership.
On one hand, Gharami smashed 122* (221) including 17 boundaries, Abhishek Porel on other hand, scored 114* (161) comprising a six and 13 boundaries. After scoring the hundred , an emotional Porel broke down in tears.
The pair helped Bengal post 304-3 after Day 2, with 64 runs lead.
