Manchester: Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling expressed his desire to move out from the English based club.

“If there was an opportunity to go somewhere else, I’d be open to it at this moment in time,” Sterling said during the FT Business of Sport US Summit.

The 26 year old seemed to have been facing a lack of game time in the club after starting only two games out of seven. Sterling had hence revealed his willingness to move abroad and ply his trade in a different league.

“As an English player, all I know is the Premier League. I’ve always known that maybe one day, I would love to play abroad and see how I would come up against that challenge.” said the English star.

Cheekily replying to languages he would like learn , Sterling said ,
“I should be learning a few different languages. I quite like the French accent – and Spanish.”

Although Sterling had previously spoken about his admiration for Real Madrid , but with the Los Blancos being keen on signing Mbappé might see him land with rival Barcelona , if they sort out their financial issues that saw them part ways with talisman Lionel Messi.
