Andhra Pradesh: Former badminton player and currently a Tamil film industry star, actor Sudheer Babu is all set to play the role of the India coach Pullela Gopichand in his biopic.
Gopichand, who has played alongside Sudheer in doubles during his playing days, called Sudheer the perfect choice for the movie and the latter is quite excited to have his former partner attempting his role in his biopic. The badminton legend said, “He has also been my training partner, so he knows what I did and how I did it, and that’ll contribute a lot.”

Sudheer made his acting debut with the film ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ in 2010 and later he also worked in movies like ‘Shiva Manasulo Shruti’, ‘Mosagallaku Mosagaadu’, ‘Nannu Dochukunduvate’ and many others.
His much-awaited Telugu action-thriller ‘V’ has released on Amazon Prime Video on Saturday (September 5), directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti in which he is playing the role of a principled cop who is out to chase a serial killer played by Nani.
