Doha: Gymnast Pranati Nayak won a bronze medal in the finals of the 9th Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Doha, Qatar, after scoring 13.367 (13.767 and 12.967 in her first and second vault attempts, respectively).
Yeo Seojeong of Korea won gold, while Miyata Shoko of Japan grabbed silver in the Vault Finals in Doha.

Nayak, who is from Kolkata, West Bengal, won his second bronze medal in the Asian Artistic Championships. Nayak has already won the brown metal in 2019 with an attempt of 13.384.
Dipa Karmakar, a veteran Indian gymnast, also won a bronze medal in the Asian Artistic Championships in 2015, with a score of 14.725.
Pranati Nayak, who recently returned from the Tokyo Olympics, has also qualified for the FIG World Artistic Championships with this bronze medal.
