Pakistan: Pakistani captain Babar Azam seemed to be in trouble as fans are very unhappy with a recent controversy involving the right-handed batsman. The recent controversy is about Azam stirred after he played his first match of the T20 Blast event in England wherein he was wearing a jersey that had the branding of alcohol.
Alcohol is a taboo in Islam and now, Azam finds himself in a little trouble. His fans in Pakistan were extremely disheartened with the fact that the name of an alcoholic brand was mentioned in Azam’s jersey. Fans even request the authority to remove the logo from Babar’s jersey.

Later, it was confirmed that it was a mistake that will be rectified in the coming match.
“The sponsors’ logo for a brand of alcohol on Babar Azam’s Somerset shirt was left on in error. Somerset will be removing the logo before their next match in the T20 Blast,” confirmed Pakistani journalist Saj Sadiq.
