Goa: With the league taking its toll, two teams from the bottom Kerala Blasters and Odisha FC would take on each other at the Fatorda Stadium in the Indian Super League.

With nothing left to lose Odisha would be planning to repeat what they did on the first leg against Kerala. It was Diego Mauricio’s brace that helped the side to secure the one and only victory of the season.

With things changing quickly and fast the boys from Odisha would be looking to win this match and try to keep something with them. “I think they’ve got some good players,” said Gerard Peyton, the man who has been the interim coach of Odisha.

“Tactically, we know how they play and will match them in every area. They play a 4-4-2 and we are going to play the same way. We are going to make it difficult for them and I think we can do the double over them”, he further added.

Kerala on the other hand were still expecting a position in the top four. So after losing two matches against ATK Mohun Bagan and Mumbai City FC, they would be determined to make something out of this match and catch the teams above them.

“Our objective is to get 12 points (from our remaining four matches) but we will take it step-by-step,” said Kibu Vicuna, in the pre-match press conference. He further added, “Tomorrow is an opportunity to get the points and be closer to the teams that have better chances of qualifying for the playoffs.
