Goa: NorthEast United FC will take on Hyderabad FC in the Indian Super League on Sunday. The Highlanders have a confident side with the performance they have been putting on and with Deshorn Brown within goals, the side has been confident enough to face the fourth-place Hyderabad.

The Highlanders have been unbeaten against the top three sides Mumbai City FC, ATK Mohun Bagan and FC Goa. Even they are the only side to make double over the league leaders Mumbai and the team has been providing their best game under Khalid Jamil.

In the pre-match press conference, Khalid said, “It is not about the individuals.”
“Everyone is working hard, the players are doing their job and are enjoying. Even the staff, everyone is working together. This is the main secret (to our success). Hyderabad is a good team and they prepare very well. Our preparation will always be the same but tomorrow’s match will be crucial.”

Hyderabad on the other hand has been playing some impressive football. With the young Indian players like Liston Colaco, Chinglensana Singh stepping up in regular occasion with other Indian players certainly are a team to watch out this season.

Aridane Santana has been in a good form this season, he has been scoring in regular intervals. Joel Chianese has been a good provider for the side and certainly an important member of the side.

In the pre-match press conference Hyderabad coach, Manolo Marquez said, “This game is a really important one for both teams, having taken the same points from our 15 games. If you lose in this game, you lose the lead in the top-4 race but if you win, you put some distance, so it is crucial to get a positive result on Sunday.”

Hyderabad has beaten NorthEast 4-2 when last time these two teams met so coming to this match Marquez has been sounding different. By praising Khalid Jamil, Marquez said, “Khalid Jamil has done a great job with the NorthEast team. It is not easy to beat the likes of ATK Mohun Bagan, Jamshedpur and Mumbai City but more importantly, the spirit they showed in the game against Goa, was really impressive.”
