Kolkata : North 24-Parganas outclassed Midnapore by 10 wickets in the summit clash at the BCA, Kalyani, on Monday to emerge champions of CAB Inter District Women’s U18 One-Day Tournament.
Bowling first, North 24 Pgs bowlers – Supriti Roy (3/15) & Priyanka Goldar (2/10) trapped Midnapore batters and restricted them to just 95 runs in 35.4 overs.
In response, North 24 Pgs openers Radhika Kumari (47*) and Toriya Singha Roy (41*) chased down the total easily in just 22.3 overs without losing a wicket, and eventually clinched the title.
