NBA playoffs set to take on Friday

Los Angeles: NBA players boycott the games as a protest against the brutal police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The objectives of the boycott was to bring national attention to the tragic incident. But the players had a meeting on Thursday, August 27th in which they decided to resume the season. 

The players have been agreed upon the resumption of the NBA season but the league would not schedule any games on Thursday but to begin by Friday-according to a report of ESPN correspondent Adrian Wojnarowski. This is surely a great news for all basketball fans around the world who have been eagerly waiting for the playoffs.

On August 26th,all the players decided whether the season should be postponed or cancelled. Apart from the LA Lakers and LA Clippers, every team voted to continue the NBA season. On August 27th, finally they came to a conclusion that the season should be restarted. Fans all over the world are waiting for their favourite superstars take the court in the playoffs action.
