Ranchi : Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni is all set to venture into a new business of selling the vegetables grown in his farmhouse in the markets of Dubai. Preparations to send consignment of vegetables grown in his farmhouse to Dubai are in the final stages. Agriculture Department of Jharkhand has taken the responsibility of sending Dhoni’s vegetables abroad.
All season Farm Fesh agency will sell Dhoni’s vegetables in Dubai. The All Seasons Farm is a fresh agency used by the Department of Agriculture to ship several consignments of vegetables to the Gulf countries.
According to a report in India Today, the head of marketing committee Abhishek Anand has informed, that the government is now working under the new project. Dhoni is a brand and when the name of Jharkhand will be associated with his vegetables, the farmers here will also benefit. He also told that many agencies that were reluctant previously will also come here and will work to send the vegetables here to other countries.
Among the vegetables that are being produced are strawberries, cabbage, tomatoes, broccoli, peas, hawk and papaya. The land on which the vegetables are grown is spread over 10 acres. The entire farmhouse has an area of about 43 acres located at Ring Road in Sembo village. In fact, there is also a huge demand for cabbage, tomatoes and peas grown in Dhoni’s farmhouse, in the Ranchi market.
Dhoni has been investing in various ventures outside cricket for several years. The brand Dhoni doesn’t need much introduction. Throughout his extraordinary career, Dhoni has been one of the biggest brands in the country, from big endorsements and advertisement campaigns to his own banner in Bollywood. The vegetables from his farmhouse are now expected to beneficial for the brand.
Dhoni is currently on holiday with his family in Dubai to celebrate the new year. Several pictures of Dhoni with his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva had gone viral on social media. Recently the power couple had also hosted the newly wed couple Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma for a dinner in Dubai. Chahal shared pictures from the dinner on his Instragram.
