Goa: Jamshedpur FC have finally managed to secure a victory after going winless for five matches registering a 1-0 victory against Odisha FC at the GMC Stadium in Bambolim on Monday. The goal was scored by Mobashir Rahman.

The match started well for Jamshedpur as Seiminlen Doungel could have scored the opener for his new club but was stopped by Arshdeep Singh. Jamshedpur continued to push with Len from the right-wing and Farukh Choudhary missed a sitter in the first half.

The goal came in the 40th minute. This was his first goal of the season. In the second half, it was expected that Stuart Baxter’s side would be hitting back with Diego Mauricio but the Jamshedpur defence was strong as a rock and stopped the Brazilian from creating any kind of havoc.

Farukh could have scored a hat-trick in the second half but missed every chance which he created. Coyle would be a happy man with this victory, much needed for the time being. Baxter would be feeling this year it’s all over for Odisha and their dream in the top four after Monday’s loss.
