Kolkata : AIFF set to appoint FC Goa’s head coach Manolo Marquez, as Indian Football team’s Head Coach.
He’ll get a 3 years contract with the team.
He also will be given option of continuing as head coach of FC Goa till 31 May, 2025. After this period his contract ends & will be able to take over as full time Indian Head Coach.
The Spaniard previously took Hyderabad FC to clinch ISL 2021-22 . He also led Goa to 3rd place this season.
After Igor Stimac sacking following India’s dismal performances under him , AIFF wanted someone who knows current scenario of Indian Football & Marquez is the best man for it.
