Liverpool: Liverpool defeated Red Bull Leipzig 2-0 in the return fixture of the UFEA Champions League on Wednesday. Two late goals from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane sealed the place for the Reds in the quarterfinals.

Liverpool is having a sticky spell at the English Premier league with some awful results in last month. But the defending Champions of England showed their class against Leipzig in both the round of 16 fixtures and comfortably went through to the quarters.

The match was to defend their 2-0 victory in Germany which they did collect in February so Jurgen Klopp was much aware of his club’s recent form and wanted to make sure about the teams’ performance on Wednesday.

The first goal came in the 70th minute from the Egyptian superstar Salah and in the 74th minute, Senegalese Mane scored the winning goal which has helped them to win the tie, 4-0 on aggregate.
