Kolkata: Barcelona Femení continued their unbeaten run in the Liga F with a 4-2 win at home against Atlético Madrid, maintaining their three-match winning streak and staying top of the table as defending champions.

Esmee Brugts scored a brace, and Vicky López and Caroline Graham Hansen also contributed to the attack, which allowed Barça to leave the pitch as winners.
Atlético Madrid did not give up and tried to level the game, and they were handsomely rewarded for their efforts, as both Allegra Poljak and Synne Jensen found the back of the net. The latter managed to score her fourth goal of the early season in three matches.
Despite the pressure from Atlético, Barcelona remained calm and collected and equalized through the brilliant play of Claudia Pina, who provided two assists in the match. The hosts relentlessly attacked the defense of the visitors, looking for weak spots, and Brugts found an opening to score the winning goal in stoppage time to complete a thrilling tie.
After three consecutive victories, Barcelona has nine points from three matches and remains unbeaten. The convincing display of attacking football has once again proved that FC Barça is the favorite to defend the title. Despite the absences, the team has shown once again incredible depth and quality of play in the final third.
Atlético Madrid is left with only three points after three rounds.
