Goa: Kerala Blasters squandered several chances before playing out a goalless draw against Jamshedpur FC in a highly-entertaining encounter in the Indian Super League drawing 0-0 at the GMC Stadium in Bambolim.

The match started with Jamshedpur attacking from the first minute with Aitor Monroy and Alex combing well between each other. Nerijus Valskis could have broken the deadlock but couldn’t capitalise on the opportunity.

Kerala have themselves to blame as three shots from Jordan Murry, Glen Hooper and Lalthathanga Puitea went off the bar. Hooper should have got a goal to his name after his shot hit the crossbar and dropped inside the goal line but due to lack of VAR in the tournament, the goal was not awarded to Kerala.

In the second half, Kerala dominated as they created better chances but lacked finishing. Sahal Abdul Samad stood out for Kerala on Wednesday but all his deeds went in vain.

Kibu Vicuna would feel that his side has been unlucky to miss out on the opportunity to beat Jamshedpur, but he would be happy with the team’s performance from what it was at the beginning of the season.

Owen Coyle would be very displeased and feel that his team is lucky to get a point after playing awful football throughout 90 minutes.
