Kolkata : Murshidabad Kueens beat Novus Royals Purulia by 50 runs in the Bengal T20 League Season 3 women’s competition at the JU, 2nd Camous Ground, Salt Lake on Tuesday.
Put into bat, Murshidabad Kueens scored 160/4 in 20 Overs, thanks to Kashish Agarwal (43 off 43) and Tanushree Sarkar (39 off 28), Jahanbi Raj Paswan (24 off 21). Prativa Rana played 21*(8) cameo at the end.
For Purulia, Supriti Roy (1-12) and Diya Nandi (1-28) were the pick of the bowlers.
In reply, Novus Royals Purulia managed only 110/5 in 20 overs. Toriya Singha Roy (50 not out off 37) top-scored for her side.
For Murshidabad, Jahanbi (2-16) and Sanaya Mondal (1-14) impressed with the ball.
This was the first win of Murshidabad in Season 3. Jahanbi Raj Paswan was awarded Player of the match.
