Madrid: Real Madrid take on Alaves on Sunday (29 November), the squad trained without their star No.9 on Friday (27 November), after he picked up an injury against Valencia at Mestalla.
Karim Benzema, was unwilling to take any risk, and hence missed the practice and is also unlikely to play against Alaves. He would be hoping to return against Shakhtar Donetsk when they travel to Ukraine next week.
Along with Karim Benzema, Dani Carvajal also missed the practice session due to a right thigh injury, which was later confirmed by the club. Hence he will also not feature against Alaves.
Zinedine Zidane will look to rotate his squad after an important away victory against Inter in UCL group stage match. Sergio Ramos, the club captain and talisman is also ruled out after his injury during international duties. Fede Valverde and Alvaro Odriozola also missed the training. Casemiro and Eder Militao is expected to feature in the lineup.
