Kano: According to sources, Nigerian striker Daniel Chima Chukwu has signed a contract with SC East Bengal of the Indian Super League for the next season 2021-2022. He is the third foreigner to join the Red & Gold Brigade for this season.
The 30-year-old striker last appeared for Taizhou Yuanda F.C., where he scored three goals in 13 appearances. In 262 club games, the player has a total of 135 goal contributions, including 91 goals and 44 assists.
Daniel Chima has played in a variety of top-flight leagues and events, including the Europa League, Champions League Qualifiers, Chinese Super League, Eliteserien, and PKO Ekstraklasa, among others.
Daniel Chima Chukwu will bring a lot of experience to Manolo Daz’s side, having previously played for Legia Warszawa, Molde FK, and others, winning the Eliteserien title three times, the NM Cupen twice, Ekstraklasa and China League One once, and so on.
